All juniors could use it. One advantage is that it is lighter and that can help refuce pressure on their necks. It is also designed for their shape of head apparently.
The Arai ones do have a sticker saying they are not suitable for drivers aged over 15 but that may just be to make sure they are VAT free.
From 01.01.11 they will be compulsory for all cadets and from 01.01.13 for all drivers under 15.
If you compete in international events under CIK regs, then all drivers under 15 need one now.
