i think the horse power question has got out of hand.
what people need to realise is that f6 has been a four stroke club from day one,that offered drivers like myself the chance to compete with engines that they had built and tuned themselvesin a so called open class.
the club has gradually included mainstream classes as they have come along.Biland ,TKM ,senior and junior,no one took any notice of the mainly old gits on their one off engines.
its only now that the Biland,saxon super series,have disappeared into the dust that the class has been noticed.
at the end of last year there was one driver attending the last round.
This has gradually grown this year to hopefully 9 to 10 for the last rounds.
None of these home grown engines have been dynoed and im sure if a competitive Biland turned up it would be at the front.The class did have a rotary engined entrant a few years back who restricted his engine and was allowed to join in .ive checked recent lap times of our karts and they are the same if not slower than Rotax max at the same circuits. i just cant see the problem.
