In max, blue and now TKM the karts are not homolagated which means that anything can be used as long as it is within the MSA regs, although most max karts will be CIK homologated, which is for karts used in KF1, 2 and 3, homologation of that kart lasts for 6 years, and evolutions like the EVX/EVXX/EVR dont require rehomologating every single year because the chassis doesnt change drastically, and the homolgation is just for the Racer chassis.
