Tonykart steering column

After heat 1 at the weekend i managed to bend my steering column on my 2008 tonykart. I think it was a bit of novice "turn in too early"! :(

I have looked at replacement ones from OTK and they are £40+ plus VAT. I aslo have seen on the KKC website a copy of the OTK one bet half the price.

Has anyone used these copys and are they any good?

Have read this bit "Suitable for Tonykarts when adequate spacers are used to acommodate for the larger gap between the mounting plates"

What are they talking about? Spacers where?
