Be careful when making assertions such as "getting your facts straight."

1) Some Cadet chassis do indeed use torsion bars. One such example being the Wright.

2) A TKM revs to 15-16,000rpm and a 100A to 20,000rpm without any apparent undue stress, but it is without question that more revs equals more stress. When the class is going to have no upgrade path, either from Cadet to Super Cadet, or Super Cadet to Juniors, why not use a larger lower revving engine? There are perfectly good 80cc engines available. Are vested interests at play?

3) I don't assume a Super Cadet will weigh 75kg, I state that it "could" weigh 75kg. Taking your example of the Zip Storm (you haven't mentioned driver weight), a Super Cadet chassis and engine will not be much heavier (a TKM is only 70kg ish) and therefore, to reach the 110kg limit the kart, with lead, could easily be 75kg with a 35kg driver.
