There is usually an overload switch on the body of the electrical lump.

It looks like a button about 1/4 diameter.

Press it in to reset.

It you haven't got one then takeoff the end plate and check the slip ring brushes, they may have broken.You can get spares on Ebay and they are easy to fit.

You may be unlucky and the voltage regulator has gone.

It's easy to fit one and they can also be found on Ebay.

Check all the wiring first.
