You can only compare engines on power output, regardless of cylinder capacity or firing cycle and you can only compare performance on power to weight ratio. I guess you missed the last year of 500cc 2-stroke GP bikes mixed with 1000cc 4-strokes Moto-GP machines.

So the original point I was trying to make is that if you have a combined grid then each class should have the same power to weight ratio, if you can't do that, you need to give seperate trophies. Otherwise the racing is pointless.
Christ sake even the stupid French can get that much right.
