I agree with slippery, everyone knew the possibility of there being a full grid of 34, as stated months before hand by HKRC. As far as i'm concerned the time qualifying should have separated the grid ability wise, with the exception of if someone had a mechanical failure ect. Of course I would never like to see a repeat of what happened in the cadet race, and I think the organisers were to blame for some of the speeds of the starts, but generally most of them were OK. Hope both cadets make a speedy recovery and return to racing soon.
