Haven't seen the Iztech one but my son wears the Forcefield one and thinks it is wonderful. A few others in our club have also bought it and agree.
It actually moulds to your shape when it warms through and this makes it very comfortable.
Yes it is a back protector not specifically for ribs but it goes right around the back and does protect the ribs
