Are you going? Unfortunately we're racing Subaru North of Bordeaux this weekend otherwise I would be there to watch, it's my local track.

Although the Minime/Cadet (age 9-13) support race has been cancelled anyway, due to lack of entries, this is because of the high costs, just about everyone is quitting. Which is symtomatic of the problems in karting here and why we stopped racing in Federal (FFSA) run events.

Interesting your point of view on lunch breaks though, fine when most meeting have less than 100 entries and the weather is nice. Not so good when it's raining and you just want to crack on and get home before midnight. God forbid if karting here ever saw the number of entries that UK races tend to attract. They still take the lunch break, but shorten the races, how's about a six lap final and racing still finishing at 6pm.

Never seen twin grids operating here and recovery is done by car and trailer. So expect 10-15 mins minimum between races.

Nahh, the grass is always greener, but trust me, running a generator and buying new lids pointlessly is a small price to pay for the brilliant racing you have in the UK.
