transporting a Rotax max

have a van thats built for motocross so when fitting the kart in the back garage of van the only way to transport is to put it in backwards at a 45 degree angle so the weights on the side wall of front and rear wheels/tyre, will this do any harm as this is my first kart and very keen to get out and play or do i need to find another van cheers Richie.
