No repairs are allowed e.g. if the chain comes off, you can not put it back on.

No outside assistance is allowed - you could not take a TKM starter onto the track but if the driver can push-start the kart then they may be allowed to restart (no helper should help with the push start). This may depend on where they break-down as safety all drivers is important and if the kart is considered to be in a dangerous position then someone may rush to help pull it off track.

This is an area where having a tag engine could be a benefit as the driver just pushes the strater button if they stall after an incident.
