What is the problem that they are trying to address by considering the entrants licence?
1. Perhaps to support bambino racing where a 6 year old cannot be responsible for their adults? 2 that drivers are not penalised for the conduct of associates 3. Income generation? 4. trying to make it a 'team run only sport' 5. adding extra cost to ensure elitist 6. .. ran out of other plausible explanations. 7? CRB checks???
It creates: 1. extra cost (we would need 3 depending on work committments as not team run) 2. more work for clubs 3. more MSA paperwork 4. ill feeling in the financial climate
If the MSA actually made the discussions/reasons open, we could all make informed views, rather than the closed shop nanny attitude which puts peoples backs up. Organisations need to check that how they think they are viewed/valued by the grass roots is actually real.-and that isnt by asking people who turn up to autosport or other expensive events, but asking the dads on a little club practice day.
