Ok bit of tec question ......but can some one tell me in laymens term how this affects the carb and it's settings

I have managed to get a good app that has a meter on it and sea to be telly accurate .
So for eh. A high Reading .. Does this mean
more or less fuel and vis versa for a low Reading on the barometer . Any one that can tell me I would be greatfull of the info
