Thanks for the tips, I know that some people do run their's low on the seat, our's was fitted by Talko high on the seat.
I started the kart on Friday and it wouldn't rev at all without cutting out, every time the throttle pedal was depressed it cut ? As soon as I opened the pulse pump up, took the gaskets out and then refitted them, it ran fine ! Behaved itself all day Saturday at the circuit too.
I will try your method Alan and see how it goes.
