i dont know how strict the TKM4/regs are for position,but i now mount my pump on the back of the seat at the lowest possible position,this means it is always below the fuel level in the tank ,the pump therefore does minimal work and the fuel is still right up to the carb even after 2 weeks plus in the garage.
