Ok, it's technical but very easy and as shown, for a 7degree rise in temperature 2 psi is too much.

For the rule of thumb, decrease the tyre pressure in proportion to the rise in temperature in Kelvin. (ie Centigrade or Celsius +273). So if the temperature rises by one thirtieth (ie about 10 degrees) then reduce the tyre pressure by one thirtieth.

And it's the tyre/track temperature you need to measure. The other day the air was at 15C but the tarmac /tyres was at 25C (because it is black)

You get people who keep their kart out of the sun, and put cold air in just before they go to the baking hot grid and wonder why the tyres give a funny performance when the race starts.
