Just to back up Richard's comments about Lydd...

1) MSA events make zero money for circuits.
2) Circuits can make considerably more money running leisure karting/corporate events. For example, Daytona Milton Keynes can take circa Ł15000 on a good saturday from leisure karting.
3) Daytona are committed to keeping Lydd popular with racers and enthusiasts as well as leisure and corporate karting events.
4) We "relaunched" the circuit to press and clients two weeks ago to ensure that the circuit has a good chance of funding the improvements we hope to make to the venue this year.

I would like to formally contradict the claim that the circuit has been bought by the old owners as we have absolutely no involvement with the previous owners.

We look forward to seeing those of you who are prepared to risk getting a little mud on their wheel arches at the circuit soon.
