My son has been competing in arrive & drive bambino events for the last year, he turns 8 in August and I would like to get his own Kart and enter local club events. Has anybody got any advice on which class would suit? Budget isn't too much of a problem but at the same time I don't wish to be throwing money into a bottomless pit just to be competitive.

Any advice on class & manufacturers, wether to buy new or 2nd hand would be greatly appreciated
