........that everybody has the same personal preferences , desires and satisfaction from racing, as yourself.
Not everybody enjoys racing or direct competition, whilst they may still crave the "pleasure " of driving a kart.
Personally, for me the enjoyment of organised racing is far outweighed by the bureaucracy, cost, bulls41t and minimal track time that you get at a race meeting.
Practice /track days are cheaper, more "run-time" and more frequent ( any day i like !)

...and there is always someone to "race" there.
