thanks for your comments Ian i agree with what your saying there is no point racing someone who doesnt have equal machinery it proves nothing,i bought a kart after selling my motorcycle hoping to get the same thrill of speed and have been a little disappointed with the acceleration if not cornering so wanted something a little faster,my local tracks dont allow gearbox karts other than dd2 or high revving 2 strokes (for noise reasons) so just trying to find an affordable way of getting more performance.I may try racing sometime in the future though if i still have the bug
