Don,t store it standing up,if you do take the engine off and store the it flat.

The engine oil fills the cylinder up with oil,thats why its hard to start,(to much compression).

It can also damage other parts of the engine to through lack of oil.

search the 4 stroke forum i think theres a few posts on this subject.
