Spellfame are a very respectable company and I'm sure they wouldn't do it deliberately.

Be very careful with the things they advertise as 'kingpin bolts'.

A real kingpin bolt is a machined item which I call a shoulder bolt.

If the stub axle bearings centre hole are 8mm, then the bolt needs to be 7.93+ to be a true bolt.

When you put the bolt through the bearings , you should have negligible play.

Unscrupulous traders will flog you long Allen bolts whose shanks are 7.85 or even less.

Look for a rough finish on the shank.

This causes the stubs to rattle about no matter how tight you do the nuts up and will wreck the bearings, especially if you run kerbs like Pylon at Rye in the proper fashion.
