Thanks for all your help guys. Have managed to adapt my trailer a bit and by tipping the kart up onto its rear bumper can now 'walk' it to the trailer and tip onto the top of the trailer. tried this a few times getting on and off and not that hard actually and okay for places like Hooton where there's lots of tarmac, wouldn't want to push the kart over the stones at GYG.

Not ideal but okay for the rare occasions during the week when perhaps there won't be too many around to help out.
