Once again, I am confused.

Basically, all axles are ROUGHLY the same length (within the same class of kart). Any axle which proturudes PAST/THROUGH the hub can't have any REALSTIC effect on handling. Thus the 'length of the axle' can only refer to the length of axle between the final bearings and the hub.

Most chassis are roughly the same width and thus the 'length' of the axle would seem to be refering to the IDENTICAL thing as the rear track plus the effect of long and short hubs....

What am I missing here?
