correct. The axle length can make a big differance in the performance of the chassis.

For most, though, go with the standard axle that your chassis manufacturer recommends. Once your testing skills improve, then maybe try a differant axle. Don,t just look for the one "hot lap", this will win you nothing. Do 10 laps on each setup and the see which gives you the best"overall" performance....one fast lap never wins a race!
