sounds about right, make sure the throttle cable is lose so carb butterfly is fully closed. also dont rev engine so high you will snap a ring. Let it go to around 12800. Then adjust on track or when your driver comes in so that your getting around 200c head temp. On cold days and in the wet use a little tank tape on engine cooling vent. ( to increase heat without going to lean)
