No, Doink..... Caterham are NOT Lotus.... Caterham are CATERHAMS.

For your info., Lotus sold the rights in 1973 of the Seven (all models) to Caterham (Graham Nearn) when Chapman tried to move on to more 'elegant' cars (Colin's own word, there): he was trying to escape the 'kit car' image.... some hopes! Colin also couldn't find a way out of the problem of manufacturing the screen supports... and that finally 'did it' for him.

That's 2 years before the last Lotus with a Ford engine!
