Cosworth had nothing to do with ford at that time, they were engine designers and builders, ford asked them for an engine and cosworth duly obliged, that engine was the DFV, ford had no input

And before you say it NO....the engine was not designed and built by lotus itpro, Keith Duckworth had left lotus by then and set his own company up with that Mike Costin bloke....COSWORTH itpro, lotus approached ford with its ideas for this engine, ford left it to Cosworth

Its clear your not a ford man, im not really a lotus man but i dont go round telling people they have to like the same cars as me where as you do, lotus this, lotus that, i was lotus dealer of the year 19 bl00dy 33, i sold this and that, who the hell flippin cares what you did itpro
