I have bump started a 125 gearbox (very easy) and a 250 (the complete opposite). The 250 had Short circuit bodywork on and a foot clutch, so was simply a case of neutral, running alongside and smacking it into 1st, jumping in once its started and getting the clutch down to get yourself seated right.

With a 125 (hand clutch), its far easier to select 1st, hold the clutch in with one hand and back of seat with the other, run alongside, drop the clutch, grab it back in when it fires, jump in and go.
