Ian, you back proper like, or just occasionally visiting?

I used to restore antique mercury barometers that had glass tubes full of the stuff.

we also made our own lead weights for the dial pointers.

The mercury got into your system under your fingernails if you weren't careful.

The lead for the weights was only just at the molten state and was considered by the helf & sanity bloke to be safe like that.

Quite surprised i'm still going, especially with all the DDT and Flit Fly Spray I was exposed to by Granny.

Anyone remember Odor-ro-no, I'm sure that was carcinogenic?
