So you'd be happy to have your seat positioned with a 55:45 longitudinal distribution and a 100:0 lateral distribution because lateral dsitribution "doesn't" matter?

I've already stated 50:50 lateral may not be best, but that doesn't mean you ignore it. Everything you've said goes to show that setting your lateral distribution can be an advantage and that this setting could be different at each circuit.
