back to the original question which was can i weigh a kart using 4 scales?

yes you can do as you described to get you above the min class weight but remember that the scales that the scruts use are what are known as scales of the day and may have a diff calibration( either greater or lesser) than your scales, so always weigh your setup(driver in full race gear and kart with min 3 ltrs of fuel) on the scales of the day before first race of the day to ensure you are within the class weights on the day on the scales that will be used to exclude if your not.
