..and effort ..but at a cost.
This should not be a lot if you can find a metal shop with a large blast cabinet and who will throw it in with other jobs.
Try and find someone who is "soda " blasting or " soft media" blasting, rather than sand blast, as sand can leave a rough surface
I have had frames blasted and powder coated for less than 60 pnds total !
