hi tom

1) depends on tyres...mine were stored for a couple of years when i bought the kart and were ok...just trial and error i supppose, if its wet on practice day n u go out on them and theyre naff then buy a set at the track...no point in spendin 100 quid if u dont have to

2) YES!!! 2mm....see john....im all enlightened now! (sorry tom i didnt know this rule until i was told the other day)

3) yes inters are worn wets which is good cos once wets have less than about 4-5mm tread they dont work well in full wet conditions so are great on damp tracks

4)not sure about that one....not sure you will see many 2nd hand sets of wets...and to be honest unless theyre almost full tread depth i wouldnt bother as they wont work any where near as well in the wet as fully treaded ones
