Best long term low cost fix I've found on MX bikes (so taking a whole lot of abuse)was to wash the rad inside and out with soapy water then a lot of clean water (IMO nothing will stick well to metal thats got antifreeze on it). Mix some slow cure araldite, place it on the hole, then blank the rad outlets and apply -ve pressure (suck!) on the rad cap hole to draw a little of the araldite into the holed rail, so it forms a plug both ways, then leave it to fully cure. Over 10 years on my old KTM 500cc 2 stroke and still no sign of failing, and used antifreeze all that time.
I believe Liquid metal is just the same resin but with some filler in it so it has more bulk.
