Mike, been using a SWB Transporter for over two years - it is decked out to take two karts and all the spares and gear including trolleys, an E Z Up type awning, a generator, a compressor and a largeish Snap-On style tool chest.
Oh, and it's also got a seat in the back so it takes all four of us.
The only down side (if you can call it that) is I have to take the offside rear wheel and side pod off the kart that goes on the deck as it won't fit between the wheel arches - small price to pay I think!
