Look at the end of the binder plug with the pins towards you and the 'locator' depression on the outer ring, at the top.

The pins should be forming a square with the 'locator' dimple between the top two pins.

the two pins on the left are the two pins you need to solder your leads to.

Just to check this, insert the bare plug into your mycron and turn it on.

short the two pins on the solder side of the plug and observe the lap counter.

Wait ten seconds and short them again, the lap couter shoud change.

The wires can go on any way round as the sensor is only a reed switch and is not polarity dependent.
