again in principle your right, showing the front runners is an incentive for others to get on tv....but its all a matter of money....alot of people out there just dont have the cash to go and win races every weekend....and alot of us will never have thaat kind of money...if the people with massive budgets start geting more sponsorship and money it will take the little guys more money to keep up....the rich will get richer and the poorer will get poorer...at which point you will end up with no series at all..

....im kinda torn with this, i agree tv has its up sides...but its a very fine balance to get....maybe its the wrong time to have tv coverage....when companies have more money and can start giving out more sponsorship then it may be a better time to get tv coverage...its a catch 22 situation really...but one thing is clear from the response on here is that people dont want the extra cost at the moment....maybe better consultation with the teams is needed for any future plans to show it on tv/increase costs...because it does have positives.

...what i cant understand though is how for instance you can go car racing in stock hatch or super karts....pay your entry fee which is about 160-180 per round...race around silverstone/ donington etc AND get on motors tv aswell....maybe its worth hoyle having a look at the economics of that.
