Following on from the thread about escalating S1 costs I notice that Sheni is increasing club meeting race day fees 2010 by Ł5 to Ł45 - a 12.5% increase, and practice day fees to Ł30 - I'm sure it was Ł25 in 2009 so that's a 20% increase!

How does the club justify these increases when inflation is so low and many people are suffering because of the recession?

Seems like even if you just stick to club racing in 2010 then it's going to cost more.

Are other clubs increasing their fees like this, or is it just Sheni?
