Hello. Just fitting a new seat which is a size smaller than my old one. The fixing arms on the chassis are thus too wide. Is it common practice to bend the seat fixing arms in/out to fit the seat as required?

Was also thinking of using some spacers to close the gap - has anyone else done this or is it a bad idea?

Thanks for the help

Ben
