Camber on a kart

Ive heard many things about different types of camber right to the point that it makes no difference. Im at the point of running the camber at 2mm positive so that when seated in the kart im hoping that the wheels are flat and im running neutral camber.

Can anyone explain the effects of positive and negative camber and when each one should be used. I have tested but I cant really see or feel a big difference whilst on track only different on the lasers.

Im presuming they have adjusters becuase they have an effect.

If anyone can help ,it would be appreciated.
