hi rather simplistic answer but if you want to race go to your local track to see what there is out there .Pro karts can be fun they can also be just as expensive as two strokes,I,ve raced both & i prefer two stroke every time,then again some of the enduro type events lend themselves to 4/ .try and get out in both types to see which you are better suited.2/ fast high g or 4/ slow think 20 laps ahead to pass
