in terms of costs in tkm they are

engine rebuild - every 8 hours Ł200-250
tyres - Ł105+vat
second hand engines - Ł350
second hand chassis - Ł300-1000
New chassis and engine are 1000 and 1500 respectively

i dont know the exact cost of blue and rotax but have heard that engine rebuilds are 600-1000 every 20 hours or so (not including oil seals etc) tyres are between 120-150 and engines and chassis are 600-2000 for engines and 1500-2000 for chassis second hand, and a lot more new.

tkm is most value for money, followed by blue and rotax is the most expensive...horses for courses tho...depends what your after...tkm is the slowest but with the new tyres it will be within half a second of the other classes....the tkm karts are a lot more fun to drive too (well most people think so!!!!)

first and formost tho get to your local track and see what classes they run!!!
