With a TKM (non TAG) clutch. you can stall it if you end up going backwards or the tickover is too low. You can't restart it on the track and your race is over.

They are started with a portable electric starter that fits on the end of the engine sprocket nut.

TKM is fairly even now. talent and setup are bigger factors in TKM.
