Trust us, it's TOTAL b*LL*CKS!

Just ask people to THINK about it. Think about the surface area that is exposed to the sun of the BLACK wheels when compared to surface area of the TYRES! Vastly more than half of the wheels surfaces are SHADED from the sun whereas the usual amount of the tyre is 50%. And remember, the tyre are is MUCH larger!

It's an example of a little bit of 'scientific knowledge' causing problems! They probably heard about 'black body radiation' in physics!
