I couldnt comment on the chassis, but I don't see why not.

As for engines, don't confuse the "engine to have" with "most popular". It depends on driving style, circuit and what you want from an engine as to which is fastest / best.

TM is the most popular engine, and is quick and almost bullet proof when set up right. Pavesi engines are mighty in a straight line, but can be tempramental. I've never experienced an SGM or Maxter but both are good but rarely used for whatever reason. The new VM engine (not to be confused with TM) is pretty quick too!

It is fairly easy to build a safe engine, but get in touch with Andy Fairless (TM), Ian Beaumont (Pavesi), Magnum Motorsport (VM i think) and research for the SGM and Maxter builders.
