The Consumer Credit Act states that for purchases over Ł100, the credit card company and the supplier are jointly responsible. However, unbeknown to many card holders, credit card policies often provide additional cover (for instance, my Barclaycard covers loss and damaged deliveries for all purchases made using my card).
