Thing is you can't give away old bike engines nowadays, anymore than an out of date kart chassis or ex hire.

So if you've got the time, why not? That thing probably cost less to build than we spend on tyres and entry for a weekends racing.

The reality is 90% of the fun was had building it and in the cold light of Tescos car park the novelty soon wore off. I imagine the same could apply to most kit car and chopper projects though.
