Yes you can and tap the bent part back again but the only way to make it dead right is skim it true again on a lathe to finish it once straightened !!Also running all the bolts in keeps it stronger and less likely to bend !One way if not bent alot is tap it while on the axle or shaft as thats what it runs on and easier to find the bent points using a fixed point to show what is bent !!
